Reasons Your Tire Pressure Light May Be Illuminated

Unlike in the past when we had to manually check the tire pressure, today new cars have a Tire Pressure Monitoring System or a tire pressure light to inform you if the tire pressure is incorrect. However, it’s still important to manually check the pressure regularly. Stop at Rusnak/Pasadena Porsche if you need a tire gauge or need assistance in monitoring the pressure yourself.

Your tire pressure light may be illuminated for several reasons. The most concerning reason is because there are issues with the tire, such as bad valve, slow leak or a puncture. However, the tire pressure light could be illuminated for other reasons like extreme outside temperatures. Pay attention and avoid unnecessary wear and tear on your tires.

If your tires seem to be losing air, or you are thinking the problem is the tires, visit us at Rusnak/Pasadena Porsche and let our technicians take care of you and your vehicle.
