Learn More About Your Spare Tire

January 31st, 2018 by

Vehicle owners may notice that their car or truck comes with a spare tire. It may either be compact or the same size as the vehicle’s other tires. Compact tires are usually provided when a manufacturer wants to preserve space in the trunk, and they may be referred to as “donuts.”

If a provided spare tire is the same size as those already on the vehicle, it may be possible to include it in the tire’s rotation schedule. In the event of an emergency, the larger tire may help to preserve the look and feel of the vehicle until the damaged tire can be repaired or replaced.

Vehicle owners may be able to visit Rusnak/Pasadena Porsche to buy new tires or replace a damaged one. It may also be possible for a service center to rotate or otherwise service tires that are currently on a vehicle.
