2020 Porsche Macan Redesign
The 2020 Porsche Macan is set to arrive in our Los Angeles area showroom sometime in May, and we’re as eager as you are to get behind the wheel of the latest edition of this wildly popular Porsche luxury crossover. There aren’t many details available yet, but the word is that the design and features will generally carry over from the 2019 Macan. There are some changes, including a new engine for the Macan S model. Learn more then stop by Rusnak/Pasadena Porsche in May to be among the first to drive the 2020 Porsche Macan.
2020 Macan: Engines and Performance
The new engine announced for the 2020 Porsche Macan S will provide more power for your Glendale area commute. The new 3.6L V6 engine will deliver 354 hp with 354 lb-ft of torque, and will sprint from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds. Active all-wheel drive should be standard, along with a 7-speed PDK automatic transmission.
2020 Macan: Design and Features
The exterior design of the new Macan will take its cue from the 911. This is especially evident in the front fascia, which bears a striking resemblance to the classic style of the iconic Porsche sports car. The standard headlights will feature the four-point LED pattern, and you can opt for the new PDLS Plus dynamic lighting system. As on the 911, the Macan will feature a 3D LED strip between the taillights and dual exhaust. There will be new 20-inch and 21-inch wheel designs offered as well. Inside you’ll find the same premium features as the 2019 Macan interior, with seating for up to 5 and a maximum cargo capacity of 52.9 cubic feet. Standard interior features include:
- 8-way power seats with Alcantara® seat centers
- Three-zone automatic climate control
- Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 10.9-inch touchscreen with HD resolution
- Bluetooth® connectivity
- Voice-activated navigation
The previous model offered Apple CarPlay™ with Siri™ as an available option, but we suspect it will be a standard feature on the 2020 Macan.
